Admin Officer - Ministry of Justice (Mental Health Tribunal Team)
Location: Sovereign House, Leicester, LE1 6TR
Hourly Rate: £13.25
Working Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday (flexible between 7:30am and 6:00pm)
Contract: Temporary until 30th September, with potential extension based on performance and business needs

Our client, a reputable government department, is hiring for a dedicated Admin Officer to join their Mental Health Tribunal Team in Leicester. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable experience within the public sector and develop your administrative skills in a dynamic environment.

What you'll be doing:
* Managing administrative tasks, including data entry and case preparation
* Handling telephone calls, correspondence, and court clerking duties
* Supporting the team with court-related activities as a CVP Clerk or Court Clerk
* Providing excellent customer service to all stakeholders
* Multitasking across various applications efficiently and accurately

What you'll bring:
* Strong IT skills with the ability to work across multiple applications simultaneously
* Excellent organisational and communication skills
* A proactive approach and attention to detail
* Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and handle sensitive information with discretion

Additional information:
* Training period of 2-3 weeks (no annual leave during this time)
* Standard DBS clearance (to be applied for by Brook Street upon successful application)
* If you have spent 6 months or longer outside the UK in the last 3 years, an overseas police check will be required (cost to be covered by the candidate)
