Administrative Officer - Sheffield
£14.17 per hour | Temporary | Public Sector | 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Our client, a reputable public sector department in Sheffield, is hiring for a dedicated Administrative Officer to join their Ministerial Correspondence Team. This is a fantastic opportunity to support vital government communications, managing correspondence from MPs, Peers, and VIPs, ensuring every case is handled with accuracy and professionalism.
What you'll be doing:
* Logging incoming ministerial correspondence onto the management system with precision
* Processing outgoing responses promptly and accurately
* Managing the Private Office correspondence mailbox and coordinating requests between departments
* Liaising with colleagues and other government bodies to track case progress
* Maintaining detailed records and audit trails throughout each case's life cycle
* Using Microsoft Office and specialist records systems to produce and manage documentation
* Collaborating with team members and providing support across different portfolios when needed
