Job Description

We are looking for an Administrative Services Coordinator to work for Cancer Research UK
You will be based in the Manchester Institute |The University of Manchester - Room 13F54 | Alderley Park | Macclesfield | SK10 4TG

Duties will be to provide high quality professional, efficient and effective administrative support to the CRUK Manchester Institute, to work closely with and assist the Executive Assistant and Institute Faculty and contribute to the day-to-day running of the Institute.
You will be responsible for the Institute External Seminar Series, facilitating a continuous programme of speakers and provide support for other Institute internal seminars and events. As a member of the Institute Administrative Team you will support the Institute with general tasks and administrative duties and provide a professional and efficient interface with internal and external colleagues.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage the External Seminar Series (collate names of intended speakers, issue invitations and acceptance letters, arrange travel and accommodation, prepare schedules of 1:1 meetings and tours of the Institute, ensure visits run smoothly and process expense claims). Act as liaison between Alderley Park and OCRB sites, facilitate the connectivity of seminars and meetings, and ensure resources are available at both sites as necessary. Coordinate and distribute internal staff communications and maintain up-to-date electronic mailing lists of Institute staff /students and external recipients. End to end management of internal meetings (coordinating availability, booking meeting rooms, producing documentation, taking minutes, greeting attendees, arranging refreshments) for the Director and Institute Faculty. Organisation of external events, , social events, large meetings and conferences as required, in collaboration with the Institute Administrative Team

I am looking for a team player and a great communicator that can work efficiently, cost-effectively and in a flexible manner and with strict adherence to protocols and Institute policies. You will strive to accomplish high/ time effective quality, of work. You will be I.T literate and have previous and similar administration / event organisation experience.

Salary is £20,000 - £24,000
