Our Client in Preston is looking for an administrator to support in their manufacturing company.
To convert quote details from draft through to final specification for approval from the customer. Identify all requirements through the process of confirming suitability, whilst maintaining production efficiencies. Recording data onto relevant systems, including Bill of Materials, Routings and Sourcing attributes.
The position requires independent decision-making, to be flexible in their approach and interfaces with individuals at all levels of the organisation.
To provide a first-class service both internally and externally on behalf of Sales, Production and Marketing.
Organises purchase of products and liaises with suppliers for price, delivery dates and quality of product.
Flexible and adaptable in approach, able to provide hands on support.
Able to build and sustain solid working relationships within the business and work within own and other departments to achieve common goals.
Excellent time management, planning & organizational skills along with good communication skills.
Confident, enthusiastic - can do attitude, a team player.
Well established analytical skills with a strong attention to detail
PC literate with good working knowledge of standard Microsoft applications e.g. Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.
