We have a fantastic opportunity to recruit a number of administrators to work for a large government department based in Durham city centre
The successful candidate will work either within the Customer Service Centre, Property Data Unit or Regional Valuation Unit to carry out a range of tasks.
Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to
Data inputting / processing
searching electronic databases
Act as a point of contact for customers
Deal with simple enquires from internal and external customers
Carry out a range of admin tasks and support functions to assist management as requested
Dealing with incoming / outgoing mail, sending standard letters and printing and post
Attend routine administration training events
You will be responsible for
Following and applying written instructions
Obtain and securely manage straightforward data
Undertake ad hoc duties as and when required
priorities work load
The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, have the ability to learn new tasks in order to contribute to the team and gain knowledge and skills after a short period of training which would generally be conducted in the work place.
The hourly rate will be £8.75 based on a 37 hour week Monday to a Friday.
