Job Description

Our Public Sector client based in Peterborough are looking for an experienced Admin Officer to join their team on a full-time, temporary basis. The rate of pay will start at £10.56 per hour. The role is due to start as soon as the compliance process has been completed, as the client is looking for an immediate start. The role is initially a minimum of four months.

This role is Monday - Friday 8am to 4.30pm and will be based in the office.

The role will include but not be restricted to:

- General Administration
- Attaching documents to client's accounts
- Opening post
- Dealing with highly sensitive documents
- Managing email inboxes and answering queries
- Scanning and filing documentation


The ideal candidate will have the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment and also competent at prioritising workload. Capable of working in a team and has own initiative. Good knowledge of general IT and confidence in using Microsoft Applications is required.

If successful, you will be required to provide either your Passport or Birth certificate, 2 proofs of address and also proof of National insurance. You will also need to complete a credit check and Sanction's check (these will be paid for by Brook Street).
