Job Description

We have an excellent opportunity for a number of candidates looking for Full Time Administration work within the Darlington area.

This position will be working within one of our public sector clients where you will carry out a variety of administration tasks.

Your duties will include but not be restricted to:

Arrange meetings which will include catering, travel and accommodation
Managing the database
Despatching outgoing mail and keeping an accurate record of all incoming and outgoing mail
Ensuring correspondence is recorded promptly
Issue routine correspondence and papers, ranging from letters to individuals through to sharing identified information with organisations such as the Home Office
Replying to correspondence and making / answering telephone calls from internal staff and external partners
Maintain confidentiality at all times.

You should have the ability to work on your own initiative as well as in a team, have excellent written and communication skills as well as a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Due to the sensitive information you may be handling you will be required to have a high level of security clearance which will be completed by the Home Office and must be in place before starting the role.

The hourly rate will start at £7.98 and rise to £10.60 after 12 weeks, This is a temporary position to start December.
