Job Description

Our public sector sector client who is part of the MOJ are seeking an administrator to provide support to the team on a temporary basis

Our client is based at Whatton and is part of the MOJ, there is on-site parking available. The location located off the A52 and it would be a walk from the nearest public transport.

This is a temporary position working full time 37 hours per week Monday to Friday. The assignment is expected to run until the end of September 2019 with the possibility to be extended.

Duties may include

* Following up on information provided in security reports
* Creating and Maintaining of manual and electronic case files
* Recording and reporting of incidents
* Producing, organising and maintaining of accurate records
* Prioritising and distributing of communications to relevant departments
* Inputting requisitions onto finance database
* Corresponding with stakeholders, ensuring effective information distribution
* Manual filing and logging of information within timescales
* Organising agendas and meetings
* Minute taking and distributing of notes and action points

This position is subject to vetting and referencing. The vetting process can take approx 4 weeks

Ideal candidates will be neutral and open to working in an environment where offenders may be present. You will be flexible and hardworking and willing to work as part of a small team

Our client requires

* Good communication skills both verbal and written
* Good IT skills are essential
* Ability to take minutes and prepare meetings
* Good organisational skills and ability to follow instruction but also work using own initiative


The pay rate is £7.98 per hour rising to £9.58 per hour after 12 weeks, benefits include holiday pay, pension scheme, on-site parking, use of on-site canteen, gym facilities and library
