Job Description

Someone is leaving so an opportunity has arisen to join a small office of well established independent financial advisors.

You will be working within a small team so flexibilty and adaptability is key.Along with a small office comes with an added perk of flexibilty on hours in terms of start time and finish time.

On a day to day basis you will be required to provide a full administrative service to the team including processing of mortgage and insurance applications to various financial institutions, administering new business cases from application through to completion using electronic and online systems; creating documents, updating databases, and collation of data.

This is an excellent opportunity if you have experience within the financial services industry and are looking to join an organisation with a traditional approach and flexible outlook with a great working environment.
The role will involve liaising with Clients, Mortgage Advisers, Lenders, Solicitors and Estate Agents so excellent communication skills are required both written and verbal. As you will be processing new applications in preparation for the lenders/underwriters a meticulous approach is vital with a good eye for detail. You will be assisting with the administrative support to distribute mortgage offers to clients, and helping ensure they reach completion
General administrative duties including inbound and outbound post, answering inbound telephone calls to the team, file scanning, booking appointments for Mortgage Advisers
Comply with FCA regulations, checking that cases meet all regulatory requirements. Comply with policies, procedures and standards e.g. Data Protection, Financial Crime, Treating Customers Fairly, Complaints Procedure etc. Other ad hoc projects as requested by the Manager.
What are we looking for?
Financial Services administration/mortgage processing experience, including knowledge of relevant FCA regulations.
Excellent customer service skills and telephone manner
IT literate with strong administrative skills
Individual with an excellent attention to detail
Happy to work in a small office
What`s in it for you?
A salary of £18500 working Monday to Friday 9:30am to 5:00pm. This is a working week of 32.5 hours..20 days annual leave + bank holidays, free parking, based in bright and spacious new purpose built home based office ,discretionary Christmas bonus.
