We currently have a fantastic opportunity for someone with a real passion for the environment to join our Government client. The role is based in Solihull but moving to Birmingham City Centre in Autumn. This will be a full-time 6 month contract (till end of March 2020) providing you to work 37 hours a week (Monday to Friday) and paying £9.56p/h.
" We are looking for a highly organised person to provide administrative support for the co-ordination, allocation and tracking of pre-application advice requests that are received.
" You will be using several inhouse IT systems (fully training will be provided)
" Possess a confident ability to communicate with staff members within the internal and external teams.
" Monitoring the mailbox for applications and forward queries and tasks to the relevant team.
" Updating Excel and Access IT systems to track work allocation.
" Facilitate the booking of meeting rooms, accommodation or travel for the permitting officer involved in pre-application meetings.
" Checking (and potentially chasing) that all staff involved in providing chargeable advice have submitted time recording information to enable subsequent invoicing.
" Work with internal departments to meet customer's needs
" Data entry in various platforms
" Clear and confident with both oral and written communications skills.
" Confident at using Microsoft Excel and ability to learn how to use a range of computer IT systems.
" Ability to learn and understand new processes and tasks.
" Attention to detail and ability to keep track of multiple systems.
" Strong ability in multi-tasking to administer multiple pieces of work and staff demands.
