Brook Street are recruiting on behalf of a local Government body for up to 4 administrators to start in the new Year. These roles will be on an initial 3 - 6 month temporary contract and based In central Milton Keynes.
Whilst each role varies slightly in its responsibilities, the main duties include;
" Opening post
" Answering queries via telephones and emails
" Data entry and logging documents into internal systems
" Answering written correspondence
" Dealing with members of the judiciary service
Whilst my client is not specific on experience, they are interested in seeing people that have;
" Good administration skills, able to use different Microsoft packages and able to learn to software quickly
" Great communication skills both speaking to stakeholders over the phone and face to face
" Able to deal with potentially difficult situations with members of the public
" Can work in a confidential environment
" Highly organised
" Has a genuine interest in working within a government position
Anyone that may have worked within a similar public sector type role would be encouraged to apply.
The working hours are 08.45 - 09.00, Monday to Friday with 30 minutes for lunch, in total a 37 hour working week.
The hourly rate of pay starts from £7.85 to £8.36 age dependant for the first 12 weeks but will increase to £9.59 from week 13.
Candidate must be able to pass a Basic DBS Check
