My public sector client based in Telford is looking for an Executive Officer, to support their department, who are specifically responsible for disposing of aircraft once they are out of service. This is a temporary on-going assignment Monday to Friday paying £10.59 p/hr, full time 37.50 hours a week
This role involves a large amount of regular daily Data Coding, through a bespoke Access database, so a knowledge of Access and Microsoft Excel and Word are paramount. This is ideal for someone looking for a set routine every day but remaining focused as the data coding is a very important part of the department. You would be required to record all disposal tasking received on to a multiuser email account and register them in the disposals to be loaded area. You will be required to confirm receipt of the Disposal Declaration Form to the relevant department, confirming reference numbers and updating values in the coding database
You must have an eye for detail and exceptional data entry skills as a key skill set but the role will require you to provide administrative support as directed by the management team within the office on a daily basis.
You should be able to provide a professional, courteous and efficient service to all customers including dealing with any telephone enquiries. This is for both internal and external stakeholders. This could include regular contact with field staff so the language you use and how you communicate is very important.
The role is far more complex than a straight forward administration role!
Please note that this role will require a clearance to be in place before commencing the assignment and you will be required to be on site immediately as social distancing is being observed in the office.
