Job Description

Brook Street Recruitment is working with our client in Templepatrick to recruit an experienced Administrator to join their expanding team.

The successful candidate will be based within the Sales team undertaking administrative duties for this team, however will also answer incoming calls and provide ad hoc administrative support for all departments.


DUTIES:

o Providing administrative support to our sales team - updating various spreadsheets, arranging transport for machines, checking invoices, updating information in various systems in a timely manner
o Providing dedicated cover for our Sales Administrator for holiday periods etc
o Answering the majority of incoming calls to the depot and directing enquiries to the appropriate person/department or ensuring messages are relayed and followed up on
o Other generic administration tasks and ad hoc duties as required across departments

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:
:
The successful candidate must be able to provide proof of, or demonstrate prior experience of, the following:
o Very strong administration and organisational skills within a fast-paced business environment
o A polite and professional telephone manner
o An excellent level of IT skills and systems usage
o Knowledge or experience of working within the vehicle/plant machinery industry would be desirable
o Experience of providing sales administration support would be desirable but is not essential
o Ability to work on own initiative and manage workload effectively
o Ability to communicate effectively at all levels, both internally and externally, in a professional manner
o Approach tasks in a systematic and logical fashion
o Have a proven track record of delivering a high calibre of customer service
o Be self-motivated and proactive at all times
o Be willing to accept change and have the ability and flexibility to adapt accordingly as business needs require
o A full driving licence
