Administrator
" Job Title Administrator
" Pay rate £10.40 per Hour
" Temporary contract
" Start date and length of temporary role ASAP - 31/09/202
" Office based with a possible option of Hybrid working but must willing to travel to Leicester office which will be the base
" Confirmation of working hours -9 am to 5pm with a 30 minute break 7.5hrs
" Location - Current location is Fosse House but will be moving to Leicester County Hall

To deliver an effective and competent level of administrative support and consistently deliver a "client-focused" service which promotes good customer service and effective working relationships.

Key Job Specific Responsibilities
" Delivering High Standards
" Provide and receive information which may contain an element of contentious and sensitive information
" To be the first point of contact, communication, and support for a number of
" organisations, directors, and staff within the directorate in relation to Transforming Care agenda
" Updating and maintaining databases, diaries and managing meeting
" arrangements as required
" Provide support with a wide range of administrative and computer skills as well as being aware of maintaining a range of knowledge and understanding
" of procedures, protocols and functions

Key General/Functional Responsibilities
" Act as a first point of contact for the department, dealing with routine and 3 specialist enquiries in a pleasant and helpful manner, communicating relevant information to stakeholders, referring to others as appropriate.
" Answer telephone calls, taking messages and passing on accurately to the relevant persons.
" To send post out when requested.
" Ensure that all complaints, comments and suggestions are dealt with appropriately, in accordance with policy, resolving where possible and escalating to line manager when appropriate.
" Photocopying and word processing documents, letters, emails, minutes and reports when required. Post holder must have a standard level of keyboard skills and able to use Microsoft Office programmes.
" Able to work on own initiative and unsupervised, within defined policies and procedures to set timescales.
" Have a flexible/adaptable approach to their work to meet various deadlines.
" Responsible for organising meetings for the Transforming Care workstream and planning any administrative work as required.
" Demonstrate office systems and department requirements to new starters.
" Inputting into, monitoring and printing reports from computerised systems.
" To carry out other appropriate delegated duties as required



ID necessary:
- In date British passport or full birth certificate paired with provisional or driving license
- 2x proof of address (bank statement, council tax, utility bill)
- Proof of NI (NI card, HMRC letter, P45)
