Job Description

Brook Street is currently recruiting on behalf of our client who is based in Crook; this position is to start ASAP until April 2019.


The role will be to provide professional, efficient and comprehensive administrative support, carrying out general office duties.

Provide a full administrative service to include (as required) typing, email, data entry and create, maintain and back up files and databases to track activities and workload. Receive, acknowledge and reply to telephone calls and internal and external correspondence (including emails) and documents in a professional and timely manner and redirect as necessary.

Ensure security of access to premises by providing a first level reception service to callers. Coordinate events and organise meetings, including booking rooms and equipment, scheduling attendees and arranging refreshments as required.

Arrange for travel, catering and accommodation. Schedule and attend meetings with internal and external participants.

Prepare and issue agendas and take, produce and circulate timely and accurate minutes. Monitor, distribute and audit uniform, personal protective equipment, office stationery, passes and/or consumables and reorder stocks as required.

GCSE Pass in English Language or equivalent Level 2 qualification. Demonstrable organisational ability and attention to detail Previous experience in record keeping and working to deadlines. Proficient in MS Office applications
