Are you seeking a dynamic administrative role that offers the chance to make a difference? Brook Street has an exciting opportunity for you to join HM Courts and Tribunals Service (HMCTS) as an Administrative Officer in Truro!
Role: Administrative Officer
Location: Truro Combined Court, Edward Street, Truro, Cornwall, TR1 2PB
Contract: Temporary ongoing assignment (6 months with potential extension)
Hours: Full-Time, Monday to Friday (09:00-17:00)
Pay Rate: £11.59 to start with, after 12 working weeks £11.88 p/h

Your Role:
As an Administrative Officer, you will be an essential part of our team, facilitating the progression of cases through the court and providing vital support to various functions within HMCTS. Your responsibilities will include:
- File Preparation: Create electronic files for court, tribunals, hearings, and meetings.
- Document Production: Generate necessary court documents to support legal proceedings.
- Administrative Tasks: Handle general photocopying, filing, and post opening/dispatch.
- Data Management: Create and update records in our in-house computer system, ensuring accurate data input.
- Communication: Address a variety of telephone enquiries with professionalism and clarity.

All offers are subject to a standard DBS check, along with 3 years of referencing.
