Job Description

Hours: 37.5 per week
Working Hours: Monday-Friday (9.00am-5.00pm)
Pay: £8.63
Contract length: 4 months

A Government organisation is searching for an experienced administrator to join their busy procurement team. You will be able to work under pressure, managing your time between phone and email queries and offering support to the procurement team.

The role provides a lot of variety: you will be running competitions between suppliers to ensure the best possible price is achieved; setting up video conferences for witnesses to deliver evidence to court; answer queries via email; administering the tending process; and managing the busy phone line.

You will have administrative experience with a good understanding of Microsoft Office. Procurement experience is not essential.

The role is based in York City Centre and is perfect for all type of commuters. There's an under-cover bike rack and secure car parking for those commuting further than 7.5 miles from the nearest park and ride. There is an on-site canteen and gym.

The role is subject to DBS and reference clearance. Any overseas travel for longer than 6 months in the last 5 years may be subject to an overseas police check.
