Due to an increased work load, my Public Sector clients is looking for candidates to help support their administrative duties.
This role will be on a temporary ongoing basis. Initially, this will be for three months and then pending possible extension in line with business needs. The role will be based in Lichfield and is part time. 30 hours per week Monday to Friday 830am to 230pm with slight flexibility.
The payrate will be £8.87 per hour for the first 12th weeks and rises to £9.87 per hour on the 13th week onwards.
You will be responsible for administrative and customer service within the team. You will be the first point of contact, managing the phones, email and assisting the team with administrative duties. Administrative duties include general financial oversight, attendance of meetings and raising new task orders.
You must have strong IT skills such are Microsoft Office (Excel and Word) and have the ability to pick up systems and technology quickly as you will be processing online applications.
You will provide a range of straightforward, routine services often as part of a team as well as working independently. You may be required to respond to routine queries, issues or circumstances.
The ideal candidate will have at least 12 months administration experience and a willingness to train and learn new systems and skills. You will have an attention to detail and ability to work in a structured environment. You will be articulate, an excellent communicator and effective team player!
The successful candidate will go through Client Vetting which can take up to 6 weeks.
