Our client is a charitable organisation based in the Northern Quarter of Manchester.
They are looking to recruit an Administration Assistant who should have experience of working in an administration environment and be able to pick up new tasks quickly and accurately. Previous experience of audio typing, filing and dealing with telephone calls is essential.
GCSE's (or equivalent) in English and maths are also required.
They are looking for a personable, self-motivated individual for this role. You will have excellent communication skills, both face to face, in writing and on the telephone, as you will be required to work with people at all levels, including management and the public. You will demonstrate enthusiasm and a commitment to delivering a high quality support service. Full training will be given by way of practical experience.
Main tasks will include:
Filing of property and files
Audio typing of correspondence
Answering phones, taking messages and handling mail
Dealing with routine administration and use of IT systems
Servicing of meetings and preparation of meeting rooms
Hours of work are 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday (9am to 5pm)
Salary £15,000 - £17,000
