Brook Street is currently working on behalf of our client to recruit an Administrator/Demo Supervisor. This is a temporary role based in High Wycombe and will run as a temporary position initially.
Salary: £9.50, Monday - Friday, 9am-5pm (with an hour lunch break)
As a Demo Supervisor you will be the main administrator for the demo storage, prep areas and showroom, using the appropriate resources to maintain their up keep. You will record asset management of products using the demo database ensuring all areas are synced and stock locations correct, reporting any variances, alongside accurate completion of regular department administration, paperwork and filing takes place on a daily basis.
In this role you will also get the opportunity to be a leader by undertaking the training and development of department employees as required and support the training needs of the department. You will carry out a local induction/introduction to the department and team and support on the job training, assigning a trained buddy to the new member of staff.
A big part of this role is ensuring all products are kept up to date with software and hardware upgrades and all demos are carried out on time on a regular schedule; confidentially raising overdue demos and performance related issues with Line Manager and providing full background and paperwork when requested.
Another exciting and essential part of this job is the off-site travels to assist in the preparation and construction of display equipment for exhibition and event purposes. This includes the preparation of audio, video and rigging equipment as required but also ensuring the dispatch of demonstration equipment for customer viewing is intact and that accurate records are being kept.
" Provide General Housekeeping in the Warehouse & the Showroom as required ensuring safe working space and practices adhering to company H&S procedures.
" Support the demo technicians and sales staff with their development within the department to ensure workforce has the appropriate skill for their job role.
" Assist department manager with team meetings when required, or hold team meetings when the department manager is out of the office and keep appropriate notes.
" Liaise with AC employees in relation to the return date of the demo equipment and also advise as to product availability.
" Arrange with product suppliers for the supply of demonstration equipment and ensure its safe return.
