Job Description

Brook Street Ltd are pleased to announce a readily available position within our esteemed government client.

Join a dynamic team as an Education Programme Officer, which is an exciting temporary assignment, initially until end of July 2024, offering a unique opportunity to contribute to the field of medical and dental education. The role will be a hybrid position, combining remote work with travel to our client Oxford-based office - Oxford Business South Park, OX4 2GX.

The role is based on a full-time, hybrid, temporary assignment, Monday-Friday at an hourly rate of £14.53/hr, 37.50 hrs/week, with the possibility of applying for a permanent employment.

Working hours can be negotiated. For instance, you could work 8am to 4pm or 9am to 5pm. Presence in the office once a week on a Thursday is mandatory.

You will collaborate closely with the Education Programme Team Manager and Education Programme Managers in the local office. This includes facilitating national recruitment, managing programmes, overseeing finances, and coordinating project management activities.

Your primary focus will be to provide operational support for medical and dental education programmes and teams:

  • Recording courses on spreadsheet
  • Liaising with speakers and processing their invoices
  • Using our client finance system, setting Speakers up

Desired skills/abilities:

  • A strong background in education/medical administration or a related field
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Proficiency in project management and financial oversight
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data management
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders
  • Proactive problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work independently
  • Proficiency in relevant software and tools
