Job Description

Job title: Administrative Assistant (Production Planning)
Salary: 17,000 to 20,000 pa depends on experience
Working hours: Monday to Friday 8am-4pm
Location: Fulwood, Preston.



POSITION PURPOSE

To provide day to day administrative support to all production office functional areas of Doc Control, Inventory Planning, Scheduling and Dept Manager. Able to step into any role as and when deemed necessary and help individual teams by focusing solely on supporting the flow.

RESPONSIBILITIES

-Position requires independent decision-making, with supervision from manager if necessary. The person is required to be flexible in their approach and interfaces with individuals at all levels of the organisation. Training will be given for this unique role and responsibility level will increase as knowledge and service develop.

-Control and Filing of Job bags, Plate processing, BOM Updates, Reporting, Stock take and ordering of sundries, PO maintenance, General Filing, Improvement Actions/Cost Initiatives/Z-Stripe

-Confirmations, Deliveries/PO maintenance, Production Order Maintenance, Implement price changes, Stock level reviews - ZipShip and Raw Material, Expired stock reporting, NCR Process, General Filing, Improvement Actions/Cost Initiatives/Z-Stripe

-SOR reporting, Shipping lists(custom/internal), Shortages /WIP amendments/ qty moving, Late orders communication with Order Management, Improvement Actions/Cost Initiatives/Z-Stripe

-Excellent time management, planning & organizational skills along with good communication skills.

-Well established analytical skills with a strong attention to detail


-PC literate with good working knowledge of standard Microsoft applications e.g. Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.


-Enthusiastic approach to new technologies
