Job Description

We are currently on the look out for a dedicated and, qualified Social Worker to join our client's passionate Adoption team based in St Helens. The successful applicant with plan an integral role in the team, supporting adoptive parents and providing counselling for families and children.

The successful applicant will by a passionate individual with an expertise in adoption processes who is CQSW, Dip SW qualified and registered with HCPC. A minimum three years post qualification experience is essential, with at least two years working with children and families and providing support within a multi-agency setting.

You will have a good knowledge of the Adoption & Children's act and the accompanying guidance, along with all secondary legislation and a sound understanding of how adoption affects all parties.

The basis of this role is to provide guidance, advice, counselling and training to children and prospective adoptive families.

Hours of work are 29.6 hours per week however full-time hours may be considered. The salary for this role is £23,574- £34,787 per annum pro rata.
