Job Description

BS Social Care are currently recruiting for temporary adult support workers in the Leeds Area.

Your job role will be to support adults with learning disabilities, complex needs and mental health problems in a residential setting. No two days are ever the same, the roles we have to offer are varied and fully supportive.

To be considered for agency work, you will require a minimum of 6 months experience in a similar setting supporting adults with learning disabilities or mental health. We will also require an enhanced DBS prior to you starting work, don`t worry if you are not on the update service as we can process DBS checks during your registration for a fee of £46.

It is desirable that you have a full UK driving license with access to your own vehicle, however this is not essential, and you may still be considered. Any training such as NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care, Citrus or breakaway training is also advantageous.

In return for your hard work and dedication to supporting vulnerable people, pay rates vary from £8.50 - £11.00 with holiday to accrue - pay rates are dependent on the client but are fully communicated prior to booking shifts.

We do also have some great perks, such as:
Temp of the month - winners receive vouchers for a shop of their choice. One temp is picked every month!
Dedicated recruitment consultants to support you and help find you work
Enhanced pay rates on bank holidays - double time for most clients!
Training - fully funded by BS Social Care including our own care academy and external training in medication, basic life support and manual handling
Flexibility to fit around your commitments, whether it be childcare or studying.

If you are interested, please apply by submitting your CV or alternatively call Maria on 01274 393050 for further information.

You will need to attend a registration interview in Bradford City Centre, which will be organised after a successful telephone screening.
