Job title: Advanced Manufacturing Engineer (AME)

Hours: 37.5 per week

Location: Telford

As an AME you are responsible for

"Leading new development of new manufacturing processes.
"Updating the equipment /tooling SORs (statement of requirements).
"Managing projects from start to finish, so from the documentation /office-based sides of things right through to the production.
"Working within a budget
"Identifying new suppliers and responsible for the verification of capabilities using technical comparisons.
"Summarise costs for business
"Design equipment lay out utilising LEAN principles
"The preparation and presentation of documents for program review meetings.
"Project management of suppliers; this may involve overseas travelling and working outside of UK working hours.
"Utilise 2D and 3D FEA simulations, AR ad VR to improve layouts/designs

Skills and Experience Required AME:

"Must have experience of managing a project from beginning to end (production).
"Must have experience in mechanical engineering of the automotive or aerospace supply chain.
"Strong computer skills - must be able to write clear and concise reports and use Microsoft Excel and Word
"Must hold a Bachelor's degree with an engineering focus
"Proven success in leading the FMEA process and POKE YOKE.
"Must hold a full driving license
