The company is an exciting marketing agency who also produce 3 publications. They work in the agricultural industry and they are in need of a Sales Executive with Advertising Sales experience to help grow the business. You will be selling the advertising space in both the printed and digital publications as well as advertising banners on the website. There is an existing client base which will need to be account managed but the main aim of your new role will be contacted new prospects over the phone to grow sales.
As the successful Advertising Sales Executive, you need to have experience working within advertising sales preferably within regional press but also be comfortable dealing with people and chasing new prospects. You will be building up relationships with customers and clients on a daily basis and therefore need to have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport quickly. If you have used the ACT CRM system and have good excel skills that would be advantageous for this role.
The Advertising Sales Executive will need to be personable and confident and not be afraid to get on the phone to make the sales. There are around 10-12 people in the office on any one day and the team are pretty laidback but still very hardworking and motivated. Due to their location you will need to be able to drive.
They are offering a salary range between £20-26k as a basic and there is an incentive scheme of around an extra £3k earning potential. They have a very unique product and there are no competitors for their product and there will be full training and support for the successful candidate.
