We are looking for an experienced Advocacy Manager to manage the mental health advocacy services as well as actively developing projects and seeking out opportunities for growth and additional funding.

A key part of this role will be your ability to triage advocacy referrals and assign them to advocates in an appropriate and timely way. You will have responsibility for oversight of safeguarding concerns within your team and so significant safeguarding experience is preferred. Good record keeping, understanding the importance of data recording and an understanding of GDPR would also be beneficial.
We are looking for a high performing, experienced and skilled leader, who understands the challenges of running a busy Advocacy and Independent Service. Good people skills, a keen eye for detail and an understanding of managing local authority contracts is essential.
The successful candidate will have a good working knowledge of Mental Capacity Act 2005, Mental Health Act 2007, and Care Act 2014 guidelines, hold a relevant qualification and have at least 3 years management experience.
This is a full time position with a salary of up to £27,358 with great benefits and rewards.
