My NHS client is looking to recruit an experienced Administrative Assistant for a temporary on-going position based at Manchester City Centre.
You will be part of the Central Booking System Team. The Central Booking System (CBS) is a newly developed UK wide booking system for research applications which require review by a Research Ethics Committee (REC). The Central Booking System involves an on screen question matrix which will determine the next appropriate REC meeting in the UK.
The work will involve:
* Taking telephone bookings for research applications to be booked at a REC meeting.
* Using the HARP database to identify a suitable REC meeting by asking on screen questions and inputting the responses provided.
* Providing basic advice to researchers regarding the REC meeting booking and application submission process.
* Assisting the REC administration team with administrative duties when required
The working hours are 09:00-17:00 Monday to Friday and the pay rate for this role is £7.98p/h which goes up to £9.10p/h after 12 weeks. You will be required to work 37.5 hours each week.
Ideal candidate will need to have a previous admin experience and be computer literate, previous customer service experience would be beneficial.
