Executive Secretary / Personal Assistant - Central Government
Type: Long-term temporary Salary: £13.00 / hour

Brook Street has been chosen as a recruitment partner to hire temporary admin and clerical workers for central government departments and the public sector across the UK. We're currently looking for an experienced, professional Executive Secretary / Personal Assistant for a governmental department.

Providing high-level, diverse secretarial and administrative support to one or two key senior managers, your duties will include:

" Composing non-routine correspondence
" Compiling reports
" Transcribing dictation
" Typing documents, using word processor or spreadsheet software
" Receiving visitors
" Screening and directing manager's telephone calls
" Diary management
" Arranging meetings or travel
" Maintaining records or files

Typical qualifications and experience required:
" A minimum of 5 years' experience as a PA to senior managers
" Excellent communication skills both oral and written
" Previous government experience is desirable
" An advanced level of computer literacy and wide knowledge of relevant software packages
