Job Description

Brook Street are seeking a temporary Analytical Support Officer on behalf of NHS England based in Taunton.

The Performance Analysis team is an analytical service supporting NHS England and NHS Improvement by providing information, analysis and analytical support. We have an aim of 'do once and automate' wherever possible and therefore produce national products for use by the centre and locally. This approach reduces the analytical overhead enabling us to support local analysis where required and ensures consistency of reporting from Cumbria to Cornwall.

You duties will include but not be restricted to;

o Provide high quality project, service, initiative and administrative support including information and analysis.

o Undertake reporting and analysis of information to support delivery

o Be able to bring together data and information from different sources and present findings clearly to a range of audiences including the use of tables, graphs and summary statistics

o Have good communication skills and be able to work effectively with people with different perspectives to get the most out of stakeholder relationships

o Support the team to ensure that the portfolio of tasks/projects is planned, managed and delivered effectively; be calm under pressure and able to juggle competing priorities and tight deadlines. Identify risks within own deliverables and enable management of these risks by others

o Support the team in communicating clearly and efficiently with a range of organisations and individuals, to ensure business demands can be met effectively

The post holder is a key member of the team whose overarching goal is to enable, promote and support the effective use of data, information, knowledge and technology to improve, inform and support a portfolio of projects, services, and initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have;

Knowledge of administrative procedures, project management or information analysis.
Knowledge of project principles.
Previously worked in similar position within the public sector.
Commitment to continuing professional development.

You will be paid £10.83 per hour, this rises to £12.74 after 12 weeks. This post is expected to run until end of December 2020 with possibility for extension.
