Job Description

Brook Street is currently recruiting on behalf of our client who is based in Newport City Centre; we have multiple positions available for an admin officer.

Contract: Temporary assignment 6-9 months (work volume dependant)

Start date: January 2022

Salary: £9.06 per hour - rising to £11.10 per hour after a 12 week qualifying period

Hours: The AO Role working pattern will be between Monday and Saturday 8am to 6pm (With small regional differences) on a rota basis

Clearance: CTC

Primary Purpose

To support non examination functions by adhering to current guidance and policy.

Key Responsibilities

  • To support single site functions as appropriate, depending on location.
  • To provide effective and timely customer care to internal and external customers in line with current guidance and best practice.
  • To respond to customer enquiries and complaints in writing, by telephone and face-to-face to the appropriate standard and in accordance with established policy and procedural instruction.
  • To develop and maintain knowledge of legislation, policy, procedure and security guidelines so as to complete all work in accordance with the client's Policy, Procedure and Best Practice guidelines.
  • To work flexibly and provide support to other operational colleagues / areas as required.
  • To take responsibility for one's own attendance, performance and personal development.

Note: An employee may be required to carry out other duties within the scope of the grade and within the limits of their skill, competence and training.

These Roles are primarily Office Based.
