We are looking for an Admin Officer to work for our client within the Valuations Office Agency. This is a long term temporary post.
Location: Leeds City Centre
Salary: £9.94 per hour
Hours: Monday- Friday 9am-5pm

The Valuation Office agency (VOA) is and executive agency of HMRC with circa 3,500 staff. Our main functions are to compile and maintain the business rating and council tax valuation lists for England and Wales, value property in England, Wales and Scotland for the purposes of taxes administered by HMRC, provide statutory and non-statutory property valuation services in England, Wales and Scotland, determine Local housing Allowance levels and register fair rents in England.
About the job:
As an AO Finance Officer you will support the credit control team. The credit control team sits in the Financial Accounting function of the VOA and is responsible for ensuring that our clients are invoiced appropriately. You will be required to carry out a range of task and support functions to assist the Transaction Services Manager.
-Analyse and prioritise debt management
-Contact clients to ensure prompt payment
-Resolve client invoice queries
-Issue statements and reminder letters to customers
-Manage the departments mailbox
-Liaise with internal and external stakeholders
-Excellent communication skills
-Strong numeracy skills
-Excellent IT knowledge and experience using Microsoft packages (Excel, Word, Outlook)
-Good attention to detail
-Experience using SAP is desirable but not essential
