Job Description

Senior Secretary - Central Government
Type: Long-term temporary Salary: £17.02 / hour

If you're a highly-skilled Secretary with senior experience, our government needs your expertise. As a chosen recruitment partner to central government and the public sector, we have been tasked with appointing temp admin and clerical staff - offering you the ideal opportunity to tender your skills to the public sector.

The purpose of this role will be to support the International Coordination & Development Team (ICDT) in delivering their day to day business through:

a. Coordination of meetings including room booking, invites, agenda, acting as secretary and production of minutes where required.
b. Managing and maintaining data on resources and movements including availability, travel plans, expenses, holidays, sickness etc. Undertaking induction to include security clearances, building passes, IT and phone set up.
c. Registering suppliers, setting up purchase orders and submitting other financial forms.
d. Arranging for the translation of documents and proof reading returns.
e. Coordinating the production, dissemination and filing of Management Information and reports.
f. Managing logistics for travel for members of the team and visitors covering:

" Visa applications
" Booking/Amending travel and accommodation through organisation travel agent
" Acting as point of contact for flights, hotels, issues with travel, in coordination with in-country representatives.
" Deployment tracking - for team members and inward visits from partner countries.
" Coordination of security and travel brief for team members who are travelling.
In order to be successful for this role you will need to meet the following requirements;
" Secretariat background
" Travel booking experience
" Flexible and able to deal with multiple demands
" Security cleared to SC
" Fluent in Arabic
