ARCHITECTURAL TECHNICIAN
INVERNESS
£20-30K (BASED ON EXPERIENCE)

We are looking for an Architectural Technologist or Architectural Technician with 1-3 years of experience to join our Inverness team servicing our extensive range of private and public sector housing workload in locations across Scotland.

The position would be assisting in the delivery of all aspects of projects from feasibility, through Planning and Warrant processes to completion on a range of traditional and design and build contract work.

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual who has the drive to make the most of the opportunity to work with, and learn from our experienced and highly skilled team.

Candidates should ideally have some residential experience; demonstrate an ability to communicate effectively with clients, colleagues and other consultants; be self-motivated to commit to high professional standards and should be skilled in the use of the latest versions of Autocad and Sketchup. They should also have a keen interest in energy efficient design and some knowledge of the requirements for Section 6.

Salary would be in the region of £20-30K depending on the relevant skills and experience of the successful applicants.

The business is a RIAS Registered Practice and provide in-house Building Standards Section 6 certification and Passive House designer services.

The Practice is also independently accredited against ISO quality standards. The Inverness premises are walkable from the City Centre and spread over 3 floors. A great working environment with good links for commuting.
