Job Description

My Public sector client is seeking an Architectural Technologist to join their team in Livingston for a 12 month period.

You will undertake/assist with the development, design and administration of construction projects and planned improvements.

Key Tasks

Undertake site and building investigation and surveys
Prepare or assist in the preparation of feasibility studies and reports on construction projects
Support with preliminary and detailed design of all architectural aspects of new building, refurbishments
Assist in the administration of planned improvement and minor works contracts and monitoring of contract/project expenditure
Participate in design teams for major construction projects
Provide technical advise and liaise with colleagues
Produce information including drawings and specifications and building legislation compliance

Essential

HNC in Architectural Technology or equivalent
Experience in AutoCAD
Technical knowledge of construction techniques
Knowledge of project management
Knowledge of CDM regulations
Knowledge of planning legislation
