Are you a motivated Shift leader?Be an inspiration!

Job Description

Are you a motivated Shift leader?

Do you want to inspire children and make a difference?

There is an incredible opportunity for you as an experienced children`s support worker to join a lovely team of staff in a shift leader role.

The home is proudly independent and you`ll be supporting the registered manager and team leader to ensure the smooth and safe running of the home, as well as making sure that the children are given the best possible level of care. The home is exactly that, a home; it`s a service that`s run in a very relaxed `family feel` environment - we've even got staff that bring their dogs to work!

You`ll be responsible for developing the children daily, we want our service users to grow and develop their sense of confidence, worth and self-esteem; you`ll be a good listener, taking on board what they say without them feeling judged. Of course, you`ll be a good example - you know when and where behaviour should be encouraged and where it shouldn't be. Not only that but you`ll be able to work well with your team members, delegate tasks and keep up to date with paperwork/audits that show how you`re making a difference.

As much as you`ll look after the children, we`ll look after you, you`ll be given plenty of support to help you develop within this sector and your skills. It'd be great if you've got your level 3 qualification but if you`re working towards it, we still want to chat!

Salary & contract:
£21,000 - £23,600
150 hours a month - assigned over a rota
Some sleep-ins or long shifts
