Job Description

Job Title: Area Manager - Social Care


Location: West Midlands (Birmingham, Dudley, Wolverhampton, Shropshire)


Salary: Circa £38000 plus car allowance and AMAZING benefits


Hours: 37.5 hours per week with some flexibility for hybrid working

The client:
In partnership with a well-respected and leading charity, who specialises in high quality support for vulnerable adults across the West Midlands and surrounding areas, I am actively recruiting a skilled, passionate, and person-centred AREA MANAGER to oversee an established, and growing portfolio of CQC registered services.

The Job:
Your new role as area manager, will require you to take accountability for the leadership and operational manager of all CQC registered services within the West Midlands. You will oversee the delivery of all care and support, operational, financial, and administrative functions.


Key Responsibilities and duties will include:


" Acting as a role-model for the organisation and delivering inspiring leadership which develops a culture of respect, choice, dignity, and inclusion
" Maintaining services where the needs of the people you support are paramount
" Leading on effective employee engagement and development
" Multi-service management, quality and compliance, and all safeguarding responsibilities
" Achieving all financial and revenue targets, business improvement where required and growth
" Implementation of business plans and budgets
" All elements of operational management


Skills & Experience requirements:
" You will be a confident, experienced, and passionate manager who can demonstrate success in a CQC registered role and/or can demonstrate multi-site management experience at a senior management level
" Possess relevant experience supporting adults with learning disabilities, ASD, mental health diagnosis and complex behaviours and needs
" Hold a relevant care management qualification
" Have a full UK driving licence and be flexible to work across multiple sites as required
