Brook Street are excited to be working with very successful client to join as a Area Sales Manager to cover the South West England Region and Wales.
This position is to maintain and develop customer accounts once established to maximise turnover and margin's through regular visits and other contacts and provide solutions for customer problems related to the products in multiple market sectors. This will be covering Swansea, Neath Port Talbot, Bridgend, Rhondda Cynon Taf, Vale of Tydfil, Caerphilly, Cardiff, Blaenau Gwent, Torfaen, Newport, Monmouthshire, Reading, Windsor and Maidenhead, Wokingham, Bracknell Forest and Slough. The ideal candidate will live locally in the an area being covered due to distance and travel times.
You will be contacting customers new and existing to maximise sales although this an Area Sales Manager you will be managing yourself and your own diary, you will not being looking after a team. So you will need to be self motivated, proactive and driven to reach your targets through client visits and consultations.
Due to the nature of the products you will be dealing with you will need to be technically minded with a background in Engineering or Technical Sales with proven track record with building relationships and business development.
The hours of work are Monday - Thursday 8:00am to 5.00pm Friday 8.00am to 3.00pm but as this is field based role you will be creating own diary with appointments so this may vary depending on the appointments client requirements and nights away depending on the location.
The salary is £35,000 - £45,000 depending on experience + commission with a car, laptop and mobile phone.
