My client has had an extraordinary year! Due to expansion a new position has arisen as an Area Sales Manager covering the West Midlands.

The location: West Midlands

The Salary: £26,000++

The company: My client is a manufacturer and distributor of fluid power products and accessories to industrial suppliers nationally. Pneumatics, Hydraulic, Industrial, Metal pipes and fitting, Blowguns, Movers and nozzles and just the a few of the products that my client manufacture and distribute, any experience or knowledge of this equipment would be profoundly preferable

The role:

You will be based in the Leicester office, but you will be covering the West Midlands and contact all the clients/ customers within your territory. This is to maintain customer relations and develop alongside them! Recognising their varied needs and requirements, enabling the company to deliver our products and solutions to help them to grow their businesses.

An Area Sales background would preferable, especially in the industrial industry. Although experience helps my client is willing to support and develop you throughout your role. You will be reporting to the sales manager who has got profound experience in sales! The main purpose of the role is to maintain, generate and retrieve new business to meet the consistent growth needs of the company. Great communication skills are needed when coordinating with external distributors and internal sales. A good knowledge or the West Midlands area would be helpful and will be required to travel to the Leicester Office once a week.

The successful candidate:

  • Be comfortable working to deadlines.
  • Able to communicate very well with customers and colleagues alike.
