This global manufacturer of electric motors is looking for a home based Area Sales Manager to be based in and around the Leicester Area to cover Southeast and North
It is essential for this role that you have experience in Motor, Drive or Automation Technical sales.
You will determine and implement sales & business development strategies with the aim of achieving the sales budget within a defined territory.
Develop the OEM markets and distribution markets - involving high level / boardroom negotiations
Work within the European team of Sales, Engineering and Support staff to ensure tasks and strategies are achieved
Continue to increase the company's turnover in order to meet / surpass their current objectives.
Generate enquiries by direct customer contact.
Provide continuous field intelligence on projects, competitor activity, prices, equipment, etc.
You will target Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM's), and build up distribution channels
You should be commercially astute with financial appreciation and have strong and well-practised negotiation skills.
Be articulate and numerate with self-drive and ambition.
You should have the ability to make the right operational and strategic decisions in the interest of the business.
You should be prepared to travel and spend periods away from home.
Salary is depending on experience with company car, excellent bonus scheme and pension
