We're looking for an energetic, proactive Area Sales Representative to service the Midlands and South UK for a well-established FMCG company.
The role will be to manage existing accounts alongside driving new business and sales growth throughout the Midlands and South UK, with occasional visits to the companies West Yorkshire head office.
Responsibilities will include:
Maintaining strong working relationships with existing customers, making regular visits
Developing new business, calling on potential customers, introducing the company and products
Attending trade exhibitions
Keeping in regular contact with the sales office, ensuring sales documentation and delivery dates meet the service expected by your clients
Attending sales meetings at the West Yorkshire head office, as well as the Midlands site when required
Keeping up to date with the market, anticipating new opportunities and competitors
Managing your own sales pipeline, reporting on monthly sales forecasts and keeping in regular contact with your Sales Manager
Attending quarterly performance reviews for agreed KPIs
We're looking for an enthusiastic, ambitious candidate, hungry to develop new business.
With excellent relationship building and negotiation skills.
Experience within sales for the FMCG retail sector is essential, with strong commercial awareness
In return our client offers
A basic salary of £25,000 - £30,000 dependent on experience
Commission structure, roughly £5k OTE
