Job Description

Due to an increased sales demand our client in Bradford is now looking for a production operative to work with their existing team, within our loadcell production department. The post at this stage will be on an ongoing temporary contract and working between the hours:
8.00- 4.30pm Monday - Thursday.
8.30 -4.00pm Friday
The successful applicant will be required to assist with marking out, cleaning and chemical bonding (glue) small and delicate film resistors to strain gaged based transducers, while these are not necessary large they can weigh up-to 15Kg and so physical handling ability is very important.
Basic soldering skills would also be advantageous, though not absolutely necessary as training would be given to the successful candidate.
Key skills (preferred):
Hand soldering; Lead free experience would be an obvious advantage
Patience
Dexterity
Good Eyesight
Steady Hand
Reasonable physical fitness
We should also be made aware of any allergies as chemicals are used within the department.
A degree of health and safety awareness would also be requisite as the candidates would be expected to work with heavy items along with compressed air and chemical adhesive`s and solvents.
