Brook Street Recruitment is working on behalf of our client - a large housing Association in Belfast to recruit a new Assets Officer (Response Maintenance) on a 6 month fixed term contract ( there will be a view to becoming permanent )
Our client are an established and growing Housing Association that are working hard to provide suitable homes for tenants and are actively developing new homes across the province.
Reporting to the Response Assets Manager, you will deliver a professional, technical and customer facing estates maintenance service and provide a quality customer service to tenants and other external clients.
Respond to repair requests from a range of stakeholders;
Complete technical inspections and issue works orders to facilitate property re-lets;
Carry out percentage pre and post repair checks of all repair items reported;
Order replacement technical components/equipment for schemes, including specialist equipment for housing with care schemes;
Carry out void property checks on a timely basis.
A Level six qualification (e.g. Bachelor`s Degree, Graduate diploma) or above in a related discipline such as, Estate Management, Building Surveying, Construction, Engineering with 1 years` relevant experience. If you do not possess this level of qualification, you should have 5 years` experience (within the last 7 years) within a construction / response maintenance environment;
Experience of contract management;
A working knowledge of procurement processes.
