Job Description

We are working with a Sheffield Based Accountancy firm, and they are looking for an Assistant Accountant Salary starts at £22k working hours are 37.5 Monday to Friday (AAT Level 4 qualified with at least 2 years` experience in practice)

Duties and Responsibilities:

" Preparation of company accounts from incomplete records
" Completion of draft statutory accounts from trial balances
" Corporation Tax and Business Tax computations
" Communicating with clients


Person Specification

"(AAT Level 4 qualified with at least 2 years` experience in practice)
" Minimum 2 years Practice experience
" Experience of taking on incomplete accounts and completing for manager or partner review under FRS: 102, 102 1A, 105, Charity SORP
" Experience in preparing tax computations, provisions etc
" Technically competent such as experience using Caseware, Alphatax, Xero and Xero Workpapers and Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
" Natural Communicator at all levels both written and verbal
" Accurate, methodical, and organised; able to manage own workload
" Smart and personable; able to work as part of a team
