Job Description

A leading UK law firm is seeking an Assistant Accounts Co-ordinator to join its dynamic department based central Cardiff. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work within a specialised team dedicated to managing the financial affairs of individuals as well as administering personal injury trusts. Responsibilities:

Arrange large volumes of bank payments through a dual authorisation banking process for approximately 150 clients.
Manage bank accounts via internet banking systems.
Update spreadsheets to accurately record income and expenditure on behalf of clients.
Perform monthly reconciliations of all accounts administered by the team.
Assist in monitoring cash flow for client bank accounts.
Maintain records of income and expenditure to support litigation solicitors.
Arrange standing orders and direct debits.


Skills & Qualifications:

Experience in managing financial accounts.
Proficiency in banking and accounting systems.
Competent user of Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and databases.
Highly numerate, methodical, and accurate.
Ability to work effectively within a dedicated team committed to meeting clients' needs and maximising their independence.
AAT qualification would be advantageous but not essential
