Brook Street (UK) Ltd is working on behalf of our client, Education Authority Northern Ireland, to secure an Assistant Category Officer for their Procurement department.
The successful candidate can work in various locations e.g. Armagh, Ballymena, Belfast etc but our client would prefer that the Assistant Category Officer is based in Armagh. They are, though, perfectly happy to receive candidates from us who would like to work in other locations.
Working with an experienced team and operating within Education Authority Northern Ireland's Procurement department, the Assistant Category Officer will participate in the procurement life-cycle from tender initiation to contract management.
Duties will include advising internal customers on procurement issues, tracking and monitoring procurement processes to ensure work is progressing, reviewing administrative systems, collating and analysing Management Information, and working on tender evaluations, tender awards, and contract management.
The hours of work are 0900-1700, Monday to Friday, the successful candidate will work 36 hours per week, the holiday entitlement is 34 days per annum, and the rate of pay is £10.70 per hour.
