Our client is a Law Firm based in Newport Gwent.
Job Description
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
" To contribute to the Family Department`s expertise and the growth and reputation of the Department and Firm generally.
" To act for the Clients in a range of different matters such as, Divorce, Separation, Cohabitation Financial Remedy and Children Act proceedings.
" To effectively manage all aspects of the cases allocated when necessary provide support to the Partners and Support staff within the department.
" To achieve agreed levels of billings and time recording
" In close Liaison with the Cash Office, to have overall responsibility for credit control on own matters
" To comply with the Solicitors Accounts Rules and the Rules of the Professional conduct of Solicitors
Skills/Qualifications
" Admission to the Solicitors Roll
" A minimum of 3-5 years` experience of working within a Family and Matrimonial related environment (post qualifying)
" Good commercial awareness
" An understanding of Health and Safety
