Brook Street UK Ltd are supporting our client for an Assistant Financial Accounting Officer for Belfast City Centre
Our client has advised us that the role is temporary, applicants must be able to Interview w/c 9th September. The role is an immediate start and will last approx 5 weeks, (subject to review)
The successful applicant will be responsible for providing support to the finance team including assisting in the preparation for all companies within the Clients clientele (eg accruals, prepayments, depreciation, component accounting schedules, intercompany reconciliations, journal posting etc).
The successful applicant must meet the criteria for the role which are:
Qualified with either GCSE (or equivalent) English & Maths at Grade C or above.
At least two years' experience in the use of Microsoft Excel spreadsheets demonstrated by way of examples on the application form.
A working knowledge of Microsoft Office demonstrated by way of examples on your application form.
At least two years practical experience of assisting with financial accounting or management accounting, demonstrated by way of examples on the application form.
Qualified or part qualified in a recognised professional accountancy qualification to a minimum of a recognised Technician's level.
At least two years practical experience of an assistant role in the preparation of management accounts
In return you wil be paid an hourly rate of £10.49 p/hour
