We are currently recruiting for a temporary role as an Assistant Management Accountant within the NHS.
The purpose of the role is:
To be responsible for identifying the invoicing arrangements with customers, requesting the invoicing of services and ensuring receipt of payment.
To support the Commercial and Customer Account Management teams and Service
Managers by ensuring that income is recorded, invoiced and paid in an accurate and timely manner.
To assist the Finance Business Partners in the provision of accurate financial advice, information and support to budget holders and managers within the organisation, with specific responsibility for specific services.
To be responsible for the input and production of key elements of information that the Financial and Performance reporting framework requires, including all month-end reports from the various financial systems, ensuring that the integrity of financial data is maintained and period end deadlines are met to support performance management and internal and external performance monitoring processes
To provide cover for colleagues during periods of absences to ensure the service operates efficiently and seamlessly.
The requirements for the role are as follows:
" Good standard of English & Maths (GCSE Grade C and above or equivalent)
" Studying to AAT Technician level or equivalent (NVQ 4 / HNC)
" A commitment to on-going personal and professional development
" 2 years` experience in a financial management environment
The following would be desireable:
" Fully qualified AAT
" ECDL qualified
" Commitment to studying for a
" professional accountancy qualification (CCAB)
" Previous management accounts experience
" Previous experience of financial ledger systems

It`s Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, 37.5hrs. The pay starts at £9.28/hr increasing to £10.79/hr after 12 weeks.
