On behalf of an amazing charitable provider, I am seeking an ASSISTANT MANAGER to work within their Whitchurch and Walsall supported living service.
You will be employed on a full time basis, supporting adults with a range of needs, including learning disabilities, physical disabilities, and behaviours which may be challenging.
This is a new role which requires you to work alongside the service manager and established team of support staff. This role is perfect for someone that is looking their next step into management. Maybe your current role is a senior or team leader and you've been looking for that next opportunity.
You will be a committed to exceptional care and support within a supported living setting and ensure that the people you support are able to live fulfilling lives that allows them to access external opportunities and the support they need on a daily basis.
You will engage with adults in the local community, supporting them to engage in meaningful ways, developing their independence and life skills.
It is the aim of the service to enable the people you support to live a fulfilling and independent lifestyle. You will be required to support with personal care, complete all relevant paperwork and liaise effectively with external agencies.
To be considered for this exciting role, you must:
* Level 3 in health and social care
* Demonstrate experience of supporting adults with learning disabilities, complex needs and behaviours.
* Hold a full UK driving licence and access to my own vehicle
